I am a Guatemalan lawyer specializing in constitutional law, competition and antitrust law, regulatory risk, and institutional governance. I hold an LL.B. from Universidad Francisco Marroquín, an M.A. in Economics from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid, 2014), and an LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center as a Fulbright Scholar (2025).
I worked at the Law Library of Congress in Washington, D.C., Foreign Law Section, conducting comparative research on Latin American jurisdictions to support U.S. federal-level decision-making.
With more than a decade of practice, I have advised institutions, organizations, and private sector actors on constitutional frameworks, regulatory uncertainty, antitrust issues, and politically sensitive environments.
I also serve on the Editorial Board of the International Association of Constitutional Law (IACL) Blog and on the Board of Agenda Estado de Derecho, a regional platform supported by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. These editorial roles highlight the international recognition of my work in legal and political analysis in Latin America.
I provide independent counsel in:
- Constitutional and electoral law
- Competition and antitrust law
- Regulatory and political risk analysis
- Strategic litigation and comparative law
- Institutional governance and legal reform
